Movie rec, two choices, tell me please!
Please advise, nest people: Should I watch Drive or Girl with the Dragon Tattoo?

Both. Double feature. Do it.
But really, they're both amazing. If you haven't read the Tattoo books, go with Drive. Drive was outstanding.
It's the new Dragon Tattoo starring Daniel Craig.
Hmm... whatever I watch, I'll be buzzed tonight. I haven't read the books, Chilly. However, whichever I don't watch I'll probably watch tomorrow.
This really is a hard choice.
Swedish version, hands down.
I love me some Daniel Craig, but the Swedish version is soooooooooo much better.

Drive could be fun with a buzz. Go with that one.
drive. i haven't seen it, but i want to.
i read all three Girl With the Dragon Tattoo books and saw the swedish films. i thought they (the books and movies) were just okay.
Exactly why I'm asking... I wouldn't bother with the American version.
But if you haven't read the books and will be buzzed, definitely don't do the Swedish GWtDT.

Just finished Drive, was really good and for some reason I love that it was based in LA. Wasn't as violent as I expected, but the violent scenes were well done.
NB et al, I know nothing about GwtDT. And I'll likely watch the American one tomorrow before th Laker game. Looking forward to it!
A cat dies in Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
So, definitely Drive.
I saw Drive, and it wasn't my style, but I see why it was good. Very interesting film based almost solely on tone.
