J Crew sales - clue me in!

I have my eye on a sundress at J Crew and was wondering if I should just pay full price, or if I stand a chance at waiting for a sale. Does J Crew ever offer store wide sales or send out email coupons? I normally just shop at their Factory Outlets. Thanks!

I'd sign up for their emails and wait for a promo code which they do send out.

It all depends on if the dress is popular in your size or not. 

After two years of missing out on the bikini I wanted because the D-cup tops sold out while I was waiting for a sale, I went ahead and paid full price this year as soon as I got a free shipping code.

Thanks for the tip. I signed up for their email list a couple weeks ago. I've been patiently waiting for a discount or coupon code About how often do they send them out? Every few months?

Well it will usually be a promo as in "20% off our knits" etc. that kind of thing. Sometimes it is sitewide though. I feel like they do them fairly often so I'd wait. If you worry it will sell out you can always purchase it...  I just feel like their coupon codes come around fairly often.

Hm I created an account to check out and then closedy cart bc I couldn't use 2 codes.  The next day they welcomed me w 10% off and free shipping.

Eta:  if you want to try I'll email it to you.  I also got a catalog for 20% but you have to pay shipping.  I made my purchase in the store so I don't need them
