The H's team ended their regular season with a win on Friday, and they got the home field advantage going into their first playoff game this week, so he was really happy about that. And he won money at the drag strip on Saturday, so great weekend for my H!
I had a good one as well, saw my bestie for a bit on Friday night, then went out with some other friends on Sat to a wine bar and then to another lounge, as well as stopped and got some pie to go for a night cap from House of Pies. The weather was gorgeous all weekend long so I got to take advantage of the sun and take the dogs for a couple of nice long walks.
Yesterday just had a quick grocery store trip and then watched some of the baseketball games. Fell asleep watching Best in Show, which I hadn't seen in a while and wish I could have stayed awake until the end for.

I was so freakin' proud of me and MH. We didn't stand in the corner during the engagement party (there were only like 3people there we knew) and actually branched out and talked to other people! It was great!
Oh, and I got wine (as was told to do by y'all) and I'll be, it was one of her favorites! Score! It wasn't too expensive, but it was top ranked by consumers, so I got it anyway, and I guess it was a god move!

My weekend was mostly ok. We had a little sucky family news, but other than that it was ok. We were busy all weekend! I spent yesterday grocery shopping, cleaning the house, and doing laundry.
I had a wonderful weekend.
Fri- I ended up staying home and relaxing. H brought sushi and we watched frozen planet. (Awesome show!!)
Sat- H had to work so I went over to my parents house. My mom gave me a pedicure, my dad made drinks all night, 1st brother brought boardgames, and 2nd brother brought other party favors.
I don't think it's just been us 5 in awhile. It was a unexpected but wonderful night. H did have to pick up me afterwards. LOL
Sun- We slept in, had a lazy morning then went back to my parents house. Brought the dogs over and had a BBQ.

I had a great weekend! It was pretty much perfect!
Friday, hubby and I had date night. We went to Macaroni Grill and I splurged (calories-wise) on a peach bellini and some rosemary bread. So good!
Saturday Fit Club got cancelled so I decided to be productive instead. Hubby was going to be out all day so I cleaned the entire house in the morning and then ran a bunch of errands. I got home around 2 and decided to hang up some pictures I had been putting off so now our living room is "complete!" Then I walked the dog and gave him a bath (he's still pretty itchy, but feeling better). I ordered Thai food and watched the 8 episodes of Ringer I had on the DVR.
Sunday morning I woke up and made a batch of strawberry muffins. Then hubby and I ran a few more errands (had to pick up a wedding present, get his haircut, and grocery shop). Then we came home and each played video games for a few hours. I did walk the dog again, though!
And that's that... just lovely. The weather was gorgeous and I was super productive. Love it!

Friday - Went out for sushi and drank a shitton of wine, then went to see The Hunger Games, had to sober up for a bit and finally got home a little before 4AM.
Saturday - Due to Friday night's festivities I was a waste of space and slept most of the day. Our new couch and accent chair arrived. At night S and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings for wings (duh) and to catch the Flyers and Syracuse games.
Sunday - Went to Home Goods and found some great artwork to go with our new furniture. Also found a large framed picture to go in one of the guest rooms. Took S to the airport in the afternoon then just relaxed at hme catching up on shows I've recorded.
Friday I went to BFF's mom's house for dinner, drinks and games.
Saturday- I cleaned my house and then had a friend over. We went to dinner at this chinese place and then went back to house and watched The Help. It was good.
Sunday-returned the ugly comforter DH and I bought like a month ago and got a new one. We went to Target and spent another $100 on random stuff because Target is the devil. Then we went to dinner with at my parents.
Friday we went to Happy Hour, and then came home and invaded our neighbors' deck with wine and beer, and drank until the wee hours of Saturday morning.
Saturday, chilled during the day, then our neighbor had a smoker cookout.
Sunday, cleaned, laundry and worked on my corkboard gift.
All in all, a pretty awesome weekend!

Friday we went downtown for tappas and wine, and then went to see Jeff, Who Lives at Home. We both loved it. Then we walked to a restaurant around the corner for beer and pizza and live music.
Saturday was Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ fest, which was great as always. A bunch of friends came back to our place afterward to play games and relax. Then we went to a friends' house for taco night (her family was visiting from Costa Rica and OMG the food was amazing) and games. Then Greg decided we should go visit our other friend when we left at 12:30, so we hung out till almost 4.
Yesterday we had to be at our friend's house by 10 to help him move. He is a carpenter so he had an entire wood shop full of extremely heavy woodworking equipment to load onto the truck (yay). He took us out for lunch afterward, then we came home and took a 3 hour nap. Vegged on the couch for the rest of the day.
And I'm extending my weekend by taking today off. I'm still in my pajamas.

My weekend was alright. I'm watching my sisters 2 dogs which means I have 4 dogs for a week. I groomed them all (plus another 1) Saturday and was exhausted afterwards. Then H and I went out for pizza and beer with my mom/SD.
Sunday I bathed the 4 dogs because they were stinky. I got a little bit of yardwork done since it was so nice out. I got some color so yay for that! I was so excited to watch the Season premier of Mad Men but I fell asleep about 30 min into it. So I'll be catching up on that tonight.
I was pretty worthless this weekend. I actually had Thursday/Friday off as well, so I cleaned my house some.
Friday - I went to lunch with some old co-workers, and then I went shopping and saw Hunger Games
Saturday - ran errands and then made my first vegan cake for Hubby's Birthday. It isn't til Thursday, but we celebrated on Sunday with my family.
Sunday - lunch with my family, nap and then dinner with MIL.
Again - I was pretty worthless this weekend

Friday I just relaxed with DH.
Saturday we went to some event thing at a dog store 2 miles away (we walked there) just to look at cute puppies for adoption. Then we had dinner with some family of DH's from Norway! That was pretty fun.
Sunday we went to church, took my MIL to the hospital because Friday she tripped going down the stairs at work and landed on her knee and it had bruised badly and was really swollen. She thought ice/elevation was working but Saturday night she couldn't sleep because of shooting pains. They took an x-ray and the Dr. said it was just bruised really badly and the pain is just from all the blood. Then I helped at our church's HS youth group for 5 hours... it was the first/last time I'll do that. I am going to help out again next week, I think (so I don't just quit after one night) but definitely not for 5 hours. I was actually surprisingly disappointed but I'm hoping maybe I just went on a bad night. And I like the message they're trying to promote over the next couple weeks - it's called "No Secrets" and it's the concept of how people say Christians shouldn't do this or that so those that do do those things hide their secrets from the people they should be able to trust.
