XP from MM and IN: Review of Austrian Health Spa

If you're looking for a relaxing, health-focused vacation, I can't recommend this place enough.  Just got back on Saturday and had an amazing time.  Here's a link to the clinic's site:http://www.viva-mayr.com/en/  And my review below:---- OP:  http://community.thenest.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/62478216.aspx Honestly, I LOVED it and would go back in a heartbeat.  I feel like a million bucks: my skin is glowing, I lost 2 kilos (4.4 lbs!!!), I have so much more energy, and my cellulite is GONE.  Seriously, gone.We stayed six nights, did the detox diet (personalized after visit with doctor), and relaxed...  The food, while sparse at times, was amazing.  The hotel and surroundings were beautiful and they took great care of us.There were no forced activities - you could do whatever you wanted with your time - but we followed a schedule that basically consisted of: 7:30AM - Light exercise and stretching class8AM - Breakfast- Treatments and/or rest12:30PM - Lunch- Treatments and/or rest and a few activities:  cooking class, nature walk, relaxation class6PM - Dinner- Lectures, hanging out with other guests, etc.10-11PM - We usually fell asleep watching The Sopranos.  (We brought the entire box set.)The treatments I took were multiple abdominal massages, an applied kinesiology test, facial, back cleansing, nasal something (opened the passages and made me breathe more deeply), entrance/exit exam, and an electrolysis foot bath.  I asked about the colonics out of curiosity, but the doctor said that's only for extreme cases of bowel blockage, etc. and that I didn't need it.  Neither did my friend. The doctors were great - all fully-licensed medical doctors - and they didn't try to push lots of supplements, vitamins, etc.  But it was all there if you wanted to purchase. All in all, the week cost me about $3,000USD + flight and it was well worth it...  If it weren't so pricey and I had the time, I'd love to stay for a month.  I'm trying to convince DH to go to cure his acid reflux.  There were guests from all over the world, some quite high-profile.  At least three of the guests were actually medical doctors.  I was surprised, but there were quite a few Americans.  We made new friends and were honestly sad to leave :(Here's a link to a very detailed review by someone else (with some pics) if you're interested:http://www.spawellbeing.com/austria-1-viva-mayr.html  And I'd be happy to answer any questions :)
