Someone in my office park (maybe the landowners, since most of the buildings are leased) are setting off flares to deter/scare away the Canadien (or is it "ian"?) geese that have infested parking lot and the lake behind my building. Ummmm, I kind of wanted to go get my car washed and stop for a DnD iced coffee, but I'm not exactly comfortable walking out there right now.
Re: I thought it was a joke
Do they realize that won't work?
They should just throw some hockey sticks and pucks out into the parking lot. Don't Canadian's enjoy hockey? Might as well give 'em something constructive to do.
Flares? Really? Seems a little extreme to me.
They could get arrested, couldn't they? I was under the impression that Canadian geese were still protected animals and anything that might harm them could get them in trouble.
I'd call the non-emergency number and report it.
But, then again, vegan here. :-P

Can you PIP? This sounds like it could be quite humorous.
I think it's Canada Geese.
I'm surprised they are allowed to set off flares. We have them all over the place at my work and my college and we just had to deal with them. But, I love them so I don't mind.
loooooooooooooooooooooooooooool, eh!
