What does your Easter menu look like?
I am hosting this year, and have a few things planned (ham, mac and cheese, green salad) but needing inspiration. Appetizer/dinner/desert ideas appreciated!
Re: What does your Easter menu look like?
We have the same thing every year so I'm not sure this will help...
Ham, potato salad, deviled eggs, roasted asparagus, and rye bread.
Like my blog on Facebook
Artichoke tarts, spring mix with Dijon vinaigrette, thyme honey glazed ham, potatoes Dauphinois, green beans, carrot cake
So Tasty, So Yummy
Asparagus wrapped in prosciutto
Crab-stuffed mushrooms
Arugula salad
Cedar-planked salmon
Stuffed Shrimp Scampi
White cheddar mashed potatoes
Green beans
Not sure about dessert yet
If the weather cooperates, grilled leg of lamb with lemon-garlic-herb rub, and parsley potatoes, asparagus (possibly with hollandaise), carrot salad, and rolls or bread of some sort TBD. I think dessert is going to be the same lemon curd profiteroles I made a few years ago, they were good and easy to make ahead.
Apps are of course at least deviled eggs, maybe stuffed mushrooms.
Adventures in My Kitchen
- a cheese plate
- grilled boneless leg of lamb
- grilled asparagus
- some kind of grain salad (like Farro Salad with Marinated Baby Artichokes, Lemony Couscous with Peas, Mint & Pea Shoots, or Tabbouleh Salad with Lemon, Mint & Chickpeas)
- marinated beet salad with fresh herbs and crumbled goat cheese
- a simple arugula salad, probably with some edible blossoms to look festive
- Paskha (a traditional Russian Easter dessert that we have every year
- strawberries

Oooo, now I'm thinking I might drop the potatoes and carrots and go with something like this.
Your whole menu sounds amazing!
Adventures in My Kitchen
Not sure where you live...we sometimes do crabcakes or stuffed shrimp with the ham...mac n cheese or potatoes...green salad (but you can fancy this up and but some inspiration there), and asparagus...good rolls/bread
If you're having it all early, but you can add some brunch items in like pastries/muffins/quiche?
Ham, asparagus with morels and shallots, corn pudding, scalloped potatoes and lemon-blueberry cupcakes.
eta: forgot deviled eggs.
