Tough Mudder-nervous!
It's this weekend. I don't know what possessed me to sign up for this. I sounded like fun at the beginning, until I started watching the videos! Anyway, I am SCARED to say the least. What are some important things I should do, bring, eat, not do, wear, and know? I am in really good shape, so I don't think I'll be passing out halfway through (hopefully) TIA

My husband has done this a few times and has found that gloves for climbing ropes and such, and duct tape on his shoes to keep them on through the water and mud, quite helpful. Compression shorts are good to wear so your legs don't chafe (sp?). They will have water/rest stations throughout that will have bananas at them. Bring an extra pair of shoes for after, a set of clothes and maybe a towel...
Are you doing the one near Dallas this weekend? My hubs is going to that one with some friends.
Good information from a few of us who have completed the Tough Mudder. You'll have a great time. Don't stress, it's fun.

I didn't realize that this was the same OP from the last one. Lol. I haven't registered yet, my team can't make up their mind whether they will come up to DC or we will go back down to FL. I went to sign up last month and it was completely sold out, but then I got an email saying they opened up a few more thousand spots on Saturday.
I want to do the MA one because of the new challenges, but may have to settle for the FL one again. Either way, a second orange headband and that new Under Armour TM shirt will be mine!
