DH has some misc beer he wants to clear out of the fridge before pool and party season. He's kind of "over" them so he doesn't want to drink them but doesn't want to waste them either. Anyone have any ideas of recipes I could use them in? I have a beer braised pork butt I'm going to make that uses the beer for the bbq so that will use several but I've probably got two dozen or so to burn through.
Re: fav recipes with beer?
I have the All About Braising cookbook, and a few weeks ago I made short ribs braised with beer. You need a few hours for this, but the recipe is very easy. Most of it is just leaving it on the stove. I used a bottle of Guinness for this recipe.
I've also made beer-braised chicken thighs using Yuengling, and those were pretty good.
What kinds of beer do you have? You might be able to find more recipes on ratebeer.com. Some breweries' websites also have recipes.

I've made blondies (wheat beers, red/light ales) and brownies (stouts) using beer.
I like carbonnade too, basically beef braised with beer and onions.
Beer and cheddar risotto or soup too.
