  • Really?  How much extract?  A teaspoon?  I bet almond extract and some nutmeg would be good in it.

OK, so I have never made a smoothie at home before, but I have a blender that I got at a wedding shower that's aching to be removed from the box and that sounds delicious.  Can you give me the directions/recipe for this?

  • You're lactose intolerant too? Geez, there seems to be a couple of us around here. I use frozen fruit in place of ice in my smoothies, but I might have to give this a try cause the simple banana/vanilla flavor sounds good.

  • That sounds really good.  I make smoothies every morning with spinach and fruit, but I've never tried one with just bananas.

  • I add it to taste.

I filled the blender about halfway with ice. Chopped 3 bananas into slices, added the extract. I then blended it, tasted it, added a little more extract. You can also add sugar too to make it sweeter. Next time I'm going to add more bananananaananan lol.

Its filling! I had a 16 ounce glass and could barely finish 10 ounces. I loved it.
