That's really sad.
My niece and nephews read the books. Their only comments were that the main character should have had black hair, not brown and that Rue should have been more quiet and smaller.
I saw the movie and I thought it was good. Not the best movie I've ever seen but when Rue died I had a tear in my eyes. (I tend to cry at everything but it was moving)
The idiocy and ignorance of people just never ceases to amaze me. It shouldn't, but it does.
Some wonder why I like my cats better then 98% of the people I know. This is a perfect example of why.
