Super angry right now (vent)
FIL's estate consisted of a house that he had a contract for deed on. The renter was always late, never made a full payment, bottom line, never fulfilled the contract, thus making it void.
Guy in the house is now trying to say that he paid off FIL's house and owns it free and clear. Uh, no you don't. The kicker? He's gotten a lawyer that can "prove" this.
DH and I are pissed. This guy contacted Ryan through facebook asking where he should send his money to now, and NOW you're trying to tell us that you OWN the house? Too f-ing bad bud. Sucks to be your, pretty sure the title is still in FIL's name.
I want to punch a thousand pillows right now.

I'm so sorry that you are having to deal with all of this.I hope it gets cleared up quickly.
On a much smaller scale - I had a guy steal my parking pass at school and said he could 'prove' that he paid restitution - yea his parents paid to get his car out of impound.
That is crazy. Is this the same situation as the girlfriend who was living in the house?
I'm sorry that you have to deal with a loss, but also all this BS.
