PANIC! or, why I need to think things through
I just almost pooped myself because I have to poo and so I was looking for my Kindle to take with me and then I thought, "I went upstairs to get my Kindle when I was throwing in that load of blankets and towels and OH MY GOD I HAD MY KINDLE IN MY HAND AND IT GOT WRAPPED IN THE BLANKETS AND I PUT IT IN THE WASHING MACHINE."
And then I went upstairs with my heart pounding in my throat, like, holy crap my Kindle is destroyed and I can't buy a new one and I won't have a Kindle anymore and my life is ENDING and then I realized that I never actually picked up my Kindle and it's still sitting on my nightstand and the world righted itself on its axis and life moved on.
The end.

Oh BBE, this is why we're friends.
You would've LOVED to see me around this time last year HAULING AZZ through a cruise ship because I couldn't find Aldeux (actually, it was Aldous at that time... before his screen cracked). I was in a complete panic. And I was sitting there trying to talk myself down like "This is no big deal... just buy a new one"... but my mom bought Aldeux for me and it was a HUGE deal that she did because the woman makes like $10/hr and I know she saved and saved to be able to buy it to me. So on top of being sad about not having a Kindle, I'm on the verge of tears because of the emotional aspect of it. I'm running around like a lunatic and harrassing the people at the front desk in case someone turned him in (although I was sure someone saw a free Kindle and thought "SCORE!" and I'd never see him again).
Fifteen minutes later, lallen comes around the corner with Aldeux in her hand. I had given it to her to hold on. And I was only like 2 mojitos into the night at that point.
Fin.

LOL. My sister dropped her iphone in the terlet once. She had pooped but didn't flush yet. That phone was a total loss.
The lesson... Don't text and poop. Unless you put the phone down far away from the terlet so you can finish your biness then flush. She tried to hold the phone while pulling up her too-tight skinny jeans. It slipped and well... ew.
