Anyone doing anything or going anywhere for Easter Sunday? My parents and ILs live too far away so that's a holiday we don't see either of them. However last night S told me his uncle called and invited us to his family's Easter dinner (his one sister who is hosting lives maybe an hour from us). I'm so stinkin' excited! His uncle's side of the family is Ukranian and the few meals I've had with them were fantastic! All the ladies love to cook and make some of the best authentic Ukranian dishes I've ever had.
Re: Easter Plans
I've been toying around with the idea of doing an adult scavenger hunt.
We aren't religious nor do we really celebrate but scavenger hunts are always fun!
We are thinking about going to Austin for the long weekend since we get Good Friday off, and doing a dog walk with another BNOTBer!
My family isn't religious so I doubt they will be doing anything so I probably won't see them that weekend.
We're making ice-cream-pies.
That Friday is my cousin's engagement party -
that saturday I'm doing an easter event with the company followed by dinner/drinks with some badass b!tches -
Easter Sunday we'll go see D's grandparents, they're having the entire family over.
We will go to church and then out for brunch. I was hoping my mom would want to cook but its not looking that way.
Since xSIL gets N for Easter, MIL will have us over the day before. A few of BIL's friends with kids will also come so that N can do an Easter egg hunt with some other kids.
no, no... not five, but awesomely adorable and cute! That is sweet of your H and sounds like fun.
I know! I wish MH did this!
The hubs and I are going away for the weekend, just us, I'm so freaking excited!
When we get back on Sunday we'll have a late lunch/early dinner w/ my sister and her fam, and my parents.
Do it! That sounds like so much fun.
