I did one tonight with Casselberry. Anyone ever done it? All I have to say is there are a lot of crazy people and it's scary to think they are procreating.
It was definitly interesting though so if you haven't done one it's kind of neat to see.

Re: Police Ride Along
Oh that's really cool. How did you get to do something like that? And the freaks are precisely the reason we stay in on Halloween...especially now with Rylie.
BTW...I went and had a massage with Lea and it was great! I'm going back in 2 weeks for my facial and another massage. Thanks for the rec!
Thanks for the siggy compliment.
Anyone can do a ride along you just fill out a form. If you call any PD they can fax it to you. I did Casselberry b/c I have a friend who's a cop there plus I am too nervous to do Orange County or Orlando.
I'm so glad you liked the massage! I have mine scheduled in two weeks and my facial in December. It's a good way to relieve stress over the holidays!
I've done several ride alongs and loved each of them. It's such an interesting thing to do. It's like Cops, only live! My younger brother is a police officer and I did a ride along with him which far more nerve racking than any of the other ride alongs I've done. I wanted to tell him to be careful every time he got out of the car, but I knew he'd kill me for saying that!
The other thing I did that was very interesting and a lot of fun is the Citizen's Police Academy. I did it through Winter Park Police a few years ago and learned a ton.
I'm not going into law enforcement I just thought it would be interesting to see. I give them a lot of credit because I would be way too scared to approach people not knowing how they will react. It's definitly a tough job.
