Good morning, how is everyone today? I'm barely awake but have coffee in hand.
Yesterday my coordination was below average, I only made 1 out of 3 baskets at the March Madness shootoff contest. Good enough to win a small notepad and pocket pen prize, but 1/3 is kinda
(especially since it wasn't a full size goal, hehe).
And then I had a trip up while skating and fell down but it was just a small fall, nothing got hurt except my pride. Luckily it was on the return loop of the trail, bestie pushed me to the end and we ended up skating all 6 miles! My legs are sore today.

Re: What's Up, Wednesday?
Sounds like you had fun yesterday!
Tomorrow is P's Birthday, so after work I have to stop and get the ingredients to make his vegan birthday cake
It is so yummy!

Look at you, Little Miss Betty Crocker Conrad! Have fun spoiling that fabulous man you have.
Poor Orange!
I came to work ready to get coffee. This whole week has been coffee driven, for sure. Next week I shall return to my minimal coffee ways.
I'm hoping to get Friday off, so I'm particularly excited about this hump day!
Aw! I fall on a regular basis (right ladies
) so I get the pride thing. Hopefully it won't be a frequent.
Glad to hear you only hurt your pride!
I am glad it is hump day, I am so ready for the weekend. And last night I finally finished the corkboard for my friend's shower this weekend.
And fun fact of the day? It takes 386 corks to cover a 2'x2' square! (And a lot of effing glue, lol.)
I am smart enough to wear my kneepads, elbow pads, and wristguards, but yeah... falling sucks!
Pi, I didn't ask her to take one of me yet but I did sneak a pic of BFF in her skates yesterday before we started. I'll probably pull it down from here in a bit, but isn't she just the cutest in her little helmet and fanny pack!? lol
We are such 90's nerds right now, but whatever, it's good exercise and fun!
That's what matters!
I am pretty sure me on rollerblades would end with an ER visit!! So, in MY eyes one trip up is a success.
Today I am making (vegan) cupcakes for tonight's book club meeting/going away party for one of the members. And I plan on running on the treadmill at some point.
And I just remembered I have leftover pizza for lunch to negate any running I actually accomplish. Score!!
Haha, I am with you on that!
Wow, good for you OPS! I fall/walk into things/generally injure myself almost daily. lol
I'm exhausted today! Our anniversary celebration last night was amazing. H had flowers delivered to the restaurant so they were on the table when they seated us, which was really sweet. Our table was on the second floor overlooking 6th Ave in Midtown - so cool.
And the food! OMG, I'm still full. We started with the "shellfish plateau" for one and the crabcake. I didn't think I liked oysters, but it turns out I do! There was also shrimp, stone crab and Alaskan king crab. For dinner H got a steak and I got a special that was baked stuffed shrimp, swordfish and half a hand-caught Australian lobster tail. I've eaten a ton of lobster in my life, and this blew them all away. Our server comped us champagne and dessert too.
Then we basically had sex until this morning.
MN, that sounds amaaaazing.
I'm going to be dying on the couch today so its going to be lame. I want a copious amount of food and for H to come home at lunch to bring it to me. Noooo. He's taking his lunch to get ammo. ::kicks him::
I'm now cleaning up the drool from my desk, that sounds like one kickass dinner! The seafood lover in me would have been in heaven, so glad you enjoyed your anniversary! and YAY for all night sexathons.
You are so cute!
Mmmmm, swordfish! Your night sounds amazing, MN!
Just a regular Wednesday for me. Going for a trail run after work (if it doesn't rain, otherwise I'll run on the treadmill), then picking up S at the airport later tonight.
