# - Rascal Avoidance Club check-in
Hello all. This week sucks. I have been sick since Sunday - stayed home Monday, went to work yesterday, and now I'm back in bed today. No workouts and I've got a 15K race on Sunday, my longest distance ever. I did get an 8-mile run in on Saturday so I hope that will help, and I'm going to try and get 1 or 2 more runs in is week if I can. No NROLFW, which sucks because it was going to work out where I could be done with my current stage after next week, just in time for vacation in Quebec so I wouldn't have to worry about finding weights there. No such luck though. :-(
Hope the rest of you are having a far better week.
Re: # - Rascal Avoidance Club check-in
I am flat on loss this week, but got a couple comments that I look even smaller, so i think maybe i'm toning. or possibly this little sweater just is super cute.
Go in for my alterations on my bridesmaid dress today-eek!
I have a bachelorette party this weekend, then easter, then more easter, then a week long vacay/wedding in savannah. i'm calling the entire month of april a bust.
Check for me in May.
Well, you guys, this hasn't really been my best week. Or month. Or year. Or decade, even. I haven't been photographed on my rascal (YET!) so I'm just thankful for the small things-which do not include my ass, gut, or chins.
It's really hard to look at photos like this
and not just wallow in depression and ham, but it's not like I'm Brando or something. I mean, I SAW fat on the Moreau shoot and I'm not there yet. I was thinking of getting into my old favorite of beach volleyball, but it's so hard to avoid the papparazzi. And I can't take any more whale jokes.
FTW!!!

ETA; Hope you feel better soon Marie!

LOL @ Fat Val Kilmer!!!
I am still recovering from this shiiiity stomach virus, so things have been kind of lame with me. I went back to the doctor yesterday because I was getting concerned that it's been 9 days and I still feel blech. She said that it's just a bad virus, and the antibiotic I was given also tears up your stomach, so it's like I had a double whammy. I'm done with the antibiotic now, and taking a probiotic and hoping my system gets back to normal in the next couple of days.
I did lift the last two days, and almost passed out yesterday. Probably not the smartest move, but I was so tired of feeling like a slug.
I meet with my nutritionist today for my monthly check in. I took measurements yesterday, and I've now officially lost a solid 2 inches off all my measurements (and some of those are a little more than 2"). I am so excited about that. I am really starting to see differences. I have no idea what my weight will look like (I probably lost a pound), I don't understand how I can lose inches like that, but my weight doesn't budge, which is why I try not to focus on weight that much. We'll see!
Fat Val Kilmer, I hope you never leave. An offering to keep you here:

I did OK, I think. I lost 0.6lbs since last Wed when I also lost 0.6lbs. Apparently that's a comfy number for me. I've done SO much better with my excercise. I've changed my schedule to be more realistic. I took areobics off the schedule for Fridays since Fridays are DVR nights. It was making me feel bad every time I didn't do it, so removing the expectation of being awesome (cardio) and replacing it with being OK (15 min stair machine in the morning) is making me feel better. I did well with my meals up until yesterday which combined a bad day with 2 for $1 donuts at the market. I'm unable to resist sprinkles.
I'm sorry everybody's been sick! FatVal--you're too early for AE day!
I've been not so great about counting points this week. I lost a bunch of weight last week, but then got paranoid that my supply dipped. I think the key might be to eat much more of the zero point foods that still have calories to bulk up my intake. As it was, I was derailed last night by half a babka from a famous specialty food store in the neighborhood. DELICIOUS.
I have been doing very well, and since I got norovirus I'm EVEN BETTER! I think I ate a total of 500 calories yesterday, if that.
Seriously, I'd rather be fat forever than throw up and have diarrhea like that ever again. *shudder*
