I feel like I have looked everywhere for a tall bookshelf for our bedroom, and I can't find one that I like. I would prefer a dark wood (or veneer, as long as it doesn't look too cheap), and something plain or with a little detail to it.
I love this but it sold out before I could buy it:

The IKEA Billy is a little too plain and cheap looking:

Any suggestions? My last resort is to have one made at a local furniture shop, but I was really trying to keep the price down on this item!
Re: Bookshelf suggestions?
I love that shelf.
I actually saw something similar at a local furniture consignment shop, but the one that I saw was an older piece. I wanted it really badly, but I am supposed to be purging, not adding pieces to our house.
World Market has this:

and very similarly, this:

Target has this:
I have this one and love it... plain but pretty and solid

I saw this at Target and it was totally marked, scratched and dinged up. Not sure if it was because it had been man handled too much or if it was cheap quality.
Love this one! I wonder what the quality is like, so tough buying things online! Thank you!
