Update on medicating my dog for SA

I posted a few weeks ago with questions about possibly medicating my dog for her SA issues.

I am so thankful for the advice of all you ladies and wanted to give the positive update that Gappie has been on 10mg of generic Prozac for 10 days now and is doing great! She has started going into her crate voluntarily and almost without hesitation when asked. She hasn't destroyed anything and is so relaxed about us coming and going, it is wonderful!

We took her to the ice cream stand by our house and usually she is pacing around us like a maniac and last night she sat calmly by DH's feet, even while there were lots of loud, active kids running around.

We still have a long way to go as our baby is due in 2 weeks and that will throw her for a loop I'm sure. We just feel so much more confident that things are going to be okay now that the meds have taken the edge off for her.

Thanks for your support ladies - and Gappie thanks you, too!
