We're helping some good friends move on Saturday and I wanted to bring something to nosh on while we're loading and unloading. We'll have use of refrigerator and probably oven (maybe microwave), but I don't want to count on having any of their dishes/silverware to prepare or eat anything. I was thinking brownies or cookies, but wanted something more substantial to share too.
Any wonderful nestie ideas?
Re: Moving Day Food
That's too funny! They are actually moving out of his parents house (they've been saving to buy a business), so hopefully that won't be an issue!
Thanks for the suggestions. I think wraps are a great idea!
When we moved, I set up the slow cooker at our new house and made shredded chicken for tacos, and prepped all of the toppings in advance and had them waiting in the fridge. Everything could hold until we were ready for a lunch break.
If you don't want to do a full meal, something like buffalo chicken dip with a veggie tray and baguette slices or tortilla chips would be easy to prep ahead and nibble on as you go.
