1. On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you at this exact moment? Why? 9. I just got a text from the guy I like. It was sweet and made me smile.
2. Do you like your job? Is there something else you'd rather be doing? Why aren't you? No, I don't. I want to be working for our offices in Austin. I actually just applied for an open position after I had the hiring manager call and encourage me to apply -- so I'm feeling good about that.
3. What do you do to relax? Depends. Sometimes I just read or veg out on the couch. Other times I drink wine.

1. On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you at this exact moment? Why? I'm probably an 8. The only thing keeping me from being a 10 is Ex and all of this court crap. Seriously...enough already!
2. Do you like your job? Is there something else you'd rather be doing? Why aren't you? My job is ok. It pays the bills and the people I work with are great. I'd rather do nothing at all, but if I have to actually work, I'd want to be a nurse. I'm not doing it because it's just not possible for me to go back to school and keep paying the bills.
3. What do you do to relax? Have a glass of wine, sleep, read, watch tv, anything really. I'm pretty relaxed most of the time.
4. What do you do that's enriching/exciting? Raise my daughter. She's seriously the best thing that's ever happened to me and brings so much joy to my life.
5. Tell me a story about your favorite pet. I once had an awesome tiny toy poodle whose name was Rusty. He was the best. He wasn't all yippy like poddles normally are and he was super smart. Unfortunately, my mom was allergic to him and we had to give him away.

2. Do you like your job? Is there something else you'd rather be doing? Why aren't you? I like it, but I would love to be home with my DD more. I wish I could afford to work part time.
3. What do you do to relax? Take a bath, watch mindless tv, read, pottery/ceramics.

5. Tell me a story about your favorite pet. Kimba was a fluffy, white samoyed we had growing up. He was the SWEETEST dog, but dumb as a rock. He would get lost, not intentionally run away, just get lost. He would find himself ouside and follow a jogger or chase a small animal and not be able to find his was home. Since we live in a small town and he was so well known people would always return him. lol It was always our fault, when you have 3 kids going through a gate the latch gets forgotten somtimes.
6. Tell me something trivial that annoys you. Leggings worn as pants. When the top is not long enough to cover the person's butt.
7. What's your favorite thing about yourself? My strength.
1. On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you at this exact moment? Why? Probably about a 7. I'm a little stressed with work, but a good friend is coming over this evening. I'm excited to see her, and I'm also interviewing her for a feature in a magazine -- so it's productive hanging out, which is my fav. Also, BF doesn't work tonight, so I'll get to see him before 3:30 a.m.
2. Do you like your job? Is there something else you'd rather be doing? Why aren't you? I like my job fine. I LOVE my boss. I'd rather do a lot of things, like be a professional writer, or a make-up artist or a funeral director. But writing is tough when it comes to bills, and I don't have the money or time to go back to school for the others. I compensate by freelancing on the side, doing MUA for photoshoots on weekends and watching copious amounts of Six Feet Under.
3. What do you do to relax? I bake. Or I drink wine. Or I bake AND drink wine. I cuddle with my cat. I read.
4. What do you do that's enriching/exciting? I should be doing more. I'm slowly learning to play bass. I'm cast in a play that goes up in the summer. I dabble in modeling. I write short fiction, but not nearly as frequently as I should.
5. Tell me a story about your favorite pet. My one cat (RIP Miss Chloe) was a total lovebug and she was obsessed with licking, especially eyebrows. One time, she licked my eyebrow for 20 minutes before I stopped her. Her eyes went in different directions, and she had a black patch on the top of her head that made her look like she was wearing a toupee. See?

2. Do you like your job? Is there something else you'd rather be doing? Why aren't you? I do like my job. My dream job would be being a personal coach. I'm not doing it at the moment because I need to keep paying my bills and be practical...maybe someday.

1. On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you at this exact moment? Why? I guess like a 5 or 6. I'm happy to get Sir Jerksoffalot's stuff out of my apartment and not have to deal with abuse, and most of my friends and family pulled through. I just wish it wasn't like this.
2. Do you like your job? Is there something else you'd rather be doing? Why aren't you? I do not like either of my jobs. I would love to be baking daily, but it's not feasable.

1. On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you at this exact moment? Why? At this exact moment, I'd say a 3ish. After the morning I've had, I'm just looking so forward to getting out of this place and onto the couch with my BF.
2. Do you like your job? Is there something else you'd rather be doing? Why aren't you? No. Well, I take that back. I like most of the tasks I do (but the ones I don't like, I REALLY don't like), but my company is ridic. I posted about my burnout the other day. I think I'd love to do something totally unlike anything I've done before. I've either sat at a desk or behind a cash register in every job I've ever had, and most of them have been chaotic. I think I'd like to do something more soothing and happy, like work in a spa doing facials or something. Why aren't I? Don't have the money to go back to school, and the luzury market isn't that great in this economy. I'd end up taking a paycut of about 30-50%.
3. What do you do to relax? SLEEP. Surf the internet. Lay in the sunshine (not to tan, just to get the warmth and quiet).

At one time I considered going back to school to become an attorney but I gave up the dream to work with 2 awesome guys taking care of them most days - I'm the office wifey!

5. Tell me a story about your favorite pet. My dog (XH has him now) got hit by a car and survived. It was awful but made me start a blog from his perspective so that the world could hear his voice. It was cool because we were living abroad at the time so it was all new experiences from his viewpoint. I want to turn it into a kids book one day.

As a high school teacher, every day is different and I don't know what will happen so it keeps me on my toes. It's the politics and bureaucracy of the education field that gets me down. I've started a home-based business and it has brought back so much joy in my life that's been missing from my personal and work lives.

He couldn't stop himself so he went skidding across the counters and fell to the floor. I laughed so hard, I was crying.

I'm on a temporary assignment for a few months and while I like it...it has boring moments. But I needed to move on from my last position as that was getting boring.

When I was younger, we had a pair of domesticated rabbits come into our yard and they never left, so we kept them as pets (and named them Flopsy and Mopsy). About a year later, they had bunnies. We found homes for them. Then they had more bunnies...and the mama bunny abonded them after the first week, so we raised them (we had to bottle feed them and all) and kept one . Then they had ANOTHER set of bunnies. We gave them away and then gave the big bunnies away, too. Now I get the phrase " multiply like rabbits!"
6. Tell me something trivial that annoys you. Poor spelling and grammar. Also, please that say "SupposeBly" instead of "SupposeDly". Irks me to no end.
7. What's your favorite thing about yourself? I'm really pretty confident with myself. I'm not perfect, I have far from the perfect body, but I'm happy with who I am.

5. Tell me a story about your favorite pet. Herschel, my black cat growing up. He was huge and hated the world...the only people he would let near was my brother and I. Everyone was terrified of him. I am convinced he wandered out of hell and stumbled upon our house.

7. What's your favorite thing about yourself? I am awesome on several levels, but mostly that I am an awesome dad.
1. On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you at this exact moment? 8 Why? I feel content with everything and a tad bid guilty for going on the nest while at work.
2. Do you like your job? Is there something else you'd rather be doing? Why aren't you? I rather be doing a lot of things beside my job and would if I can find something else that pays the same along with good benefits. My job is tedious? but having a great team of co-worker makes it worthwhile.
3. What do you do to relax? Hot shower, watch a movie or look at home d?cor online.
4. What do you do that's enriching/exciting? Serve with a team of people doing community projects such as fixing up women shelters and the like. I also like to go out and have fun with my buddies, even weekend trips.
5. Tell me a story about your favorite pet. My first cat found me at age 3, she learned some signs to communicate and we were super close, travel everywhere with me including a summer job in another state when she was 16 of age, she passed away when I turned 21 just before I got married.
6. Tell me something trivial that annoys you. I don?t hear and read lips when I communicate. Sometimes I just need a mental break to think about what was said for a few seconds and look away or maybe I am distracted by something that got my attention and wants to take a quick look. When this happens, I often get approached by another person in the room that I need to keep lip reading or point out to the new speaker so I don?t miss out on anything and it is an obvious gesture right in front of people since they think that is how to communicate to a deaf person. (This is not a one on one situation but more of a group setting or a conference or something). If I was hearing and not a lip reader, I don?t think anyone would think twice. Lip-reading is draining and I need those few second breaks. It annoys me to no end when people tell me what to do or treat me like a little child? I am not mad because I know they have their best interest in me and wouldn?t want me to miss anything but the same time, I just want to go ?roar? and say ?just let me be?.
7. What's your favorite thing about yourself? Most of the time, I can be real and just be myself. I am also good at figuring out how to do things on my own when I want something, especially when it comes to sewing projects, DIY projects and the likes.
I LOVE this! I feel guilty and stupid for not using the same when this is true for myself as well. I think I was overthinking on this question.
1. On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you at this exact moment? Why? 6- work is really stressful right now and I feel like all I am able to do is work, sleep, repeat. I'm not eating well, sleeping well, exercising or spending quality time with bf/family/friends and it has me down in the dumps.
2. Do you like your job? Is there something else you'd rather be doing? Why aren't you? I love my job! My boss is awesome, my co-workers are awesome, I meet lots of interesting people, love medicine and enjoy learning about my field.

I came home a few weeks ago and couldn't find my dogs AT ALL. I heard this weird rustling sound, opened the bathroom door and a box came flying at me! The dogs BOTH managed to get themselves locked inside the bathroom (which is teeny tiny) AND Heidi got a box stuck on her head! I had no idea how long they had been locked in the bathroom with a box on her head. The box was all wet at one end, like she was trying to chew her way out. I hope Lauren at least tried to help her!

Yes, I teach high school. I'm exhausted right now from it.....end of the quarter and 50 essays to grade for my world history class. A year away at Grad School next year will do me good. I'm in my 10th year.

5. Tell me a story about your favorite pet.
My family used to live in a remote area. We had two goats and once a week my sister and I would walk our goats around on leashes. I am sure that the few neighbors that we had got a kick out of seeing two girls walking goats on leashes lol.
6. Tell me something trivial that annoys you.
Heavy breathing. I know its crazy, but I should not have to hear you breathe from the other side of the room.
7. What's your favorite thing about yourself?
Physically? My eyes. I think I am really compassionate and I think that's what also makes me really good at my job.
1. On a scale of 1-10, how happy are you at this exact moment? Why? 7. I'm generally pretty happy, but I'm doing some rearranging in my life and it's not been easy.
2. Do you like your job? Is there something else you'd rather be doing? Why aren't you? I'm a full time graduate student and while I'd like to not be in school for the rest of my life, I do learn a lot and it is in a field that I have been passionate about since high school. Part time I also work at Anthropologie. I love fashion, so it's fun.
3. What do you do to relax? Watch lots of movies, listen to music, sit in the grass, drink tea.
4. What do you do that's enriching/exciting? Besides school? Haha.
5. Tell me a story about your favorite pet. I have so many! This one is probably the best to explain his personality. He was not getting attention so he opened the cabinet and climbed out the drawer.
6. Tell me something trivial that annoys you. Dirty napkins left around because "It's not 100% dirty, I'm gonna use it again."
