I just totalled up the price for my hospital stay a few weeks ago. OMG   I hope that insurance covers a lot of it.

Hospital Bills suck for sure.  I dont know what H's all add up to but if I had to guess, it would be between 300k-500k.  I'm positive he's at least hit the 300k and thats after BCBS's "discount".  I can't imagine what would've happened if we didnt have insurance.

Well H has really great union insurance so we only owe our deductible, which we hit 2 years in a row with all his stuff.  Once he meets that, our bills are covered at 100%.  The worst part now is he didnt work enough hours to qualify last year since he was out of work and we are on cobra at a very high rate until he gets his hours built back up.  But we make do because we definitely cant lose that insurance!!!
