The new casa PIP
I hope not to jinx the whole mortgage process and all that, but here are some pictures of our new casa that we're in contract with......the house is a dutch colonial built about 100 years ago. I love old houses, and I especially love that its been recently painted and the floors refinished -- yay for not having to paint or pull up carpets! ETA: You can't really see the kitchen, but it's old...no upper cabinets! I am going to probably do open shelving for the time being, budget wise. There are 1.5 baths....trying to find my pics of those!

My Blog - 86'n It
I LOOOOVE colonials, and I knew I wanted an old home. I grew up in a colonial, and my sister has one, and my in-laws have one....me and my husband like the classic style.
Ha - I would never!! Especially since I know the 95 year old man who lived here beforehand was so in love with his house and keeping it pristine. I think of an episode on HGTV or one of those channels where they painted someone's wood molding and they freaked -- because that's what I would do!
