I have a strange pain in my knee, underneath the knee on the left side (right leg) and sort of radiating up. I have been training for a mud run; may training includes 3-4 runs a week (I was already do this), 2 5-6 mile bike rides (again, already doing at least 1 a week), and some strength training. I was doing nothing (on a rest day) when it began to hurt! I was literally washing dishes, so I thought I just overused it and went on with my nigth. By yesterday morning it was throbbing and really uncomfortable, so I wrapped with w/an Ace bandage and iced it periodically.
I really want to do this mud run (4/25), anything else I should be doing? I didn't want to run to the Dr. right away if it was just tired, but it is not going on day 3 w/out relief.
Suggestions?

Yep...RICE for a few days. If it doesn't feel better, see your doctor.
Does your bike fit? If you aren't sure, take it to a local bike shop and ask them to watch you ride it. If your saddle is too low or too high, it can cause knee pain. Typically, it's more of a "nagging" pain than a sharp pain. Also, how old are your running shoes? Were you fit for them at a local running store?
