I think that you are simply seeing a great deal of frustration on the part of Repubs (or anyone else, for that matter) who support McCain.  Barring something unexpected, Obama is going to win this election.  Imagine if it was the other way around and E08 was full of McCain supporters popping champagne corks already.  You'd might be inclined to post some inflammatory things simply to rile them up.

Incidentally, today the NY Times has an article touching upon this idea.

I hear you on that, but some of the stuff in that video is just ridiculous and racist.  You can be a frustrated republican without getting that low.

I'd like to think so, but we are so politically polarized as a nation that the seemingly untouchable has become regular fodder for angry voters and pundits.
