I just had my gallbladder removed..all my bandages were taken off today. While I won't use anything right now on the scabs, what would you recommend once it scars over to minimize? I have four cuts, 3 on my abs, 1 on my right side.
Is there a cream that is really good at reducing scaring? Or is time the best thing?
Re: something for scars?
Honestly? I had a cholecystectomy a few years ago and didn't do anything special for the scarring, and the only two of the scars are really noticeable at all any more. The two on my right side (I had two there, one beneath my belly button, and one right beneath where my bra strap would be), are nearly invisible (one is entirely gone, and I have to ACTIVELY search for the other one). The one beneath my belly button is there, but hard to see. The only one that's really noticeable at all is the one beneath my bustline, and that's because it was raised.
I don't know that I'd do anything different if I had it to do over again - time seemed to fix things for me.

Try this one... best for surgical scars
