Living room lighting
Hi, as mentioned in post below, I am closing on my new house in a week and would appreciate some help/feedback on lighting in the living room. Do you think a chandelier would look out of place in front of the fireplace (above a coffee table?).. if so, what kind of light should I get? - pendant/drum/flush?? I dont like that track lighting.
For the living room I am using this as inspiration:
My new living room looks like this (previous owner's furniture). I am putting a mirror above the fireplace etc.

I have a chandelier in our living/family room above our coffee table. I love it. I don't like the look of ceiling fans and we didn't really use ours, anyway, so we took it out and replaced it with a chandelier. I wanted a drum pendant and ordered one online, and it came broken. We needed something up ASAP because we were entertaining, so I ended up with this one from Lowe's:

I like it a lot (and the price was great), but I would have loved a drum pendant.

I'm 100% agree with you. I feel that, I'm on right question. What you think about drum chandelier or lamp shade chandelier. I want to share which I have... You will love it.
