how can I find my phone # on CL and not a lot of weiner pics
Some a*hole has apparently posted my number in an ad on CL. Does anyone know the best way to search the site so I can find the ad with my phone number and tell the poster that I hope they get fileted and eaten alive by fire ants.

Maybe get one of the callers to send you a copy of the ad or to forward the CL email addy that it is attached to. This way you'll be able to flag the ad and alert the site administrator.
You can also email the poster and tell them that your phone number got into the mix and for him/her to delete their post, STAT.
Google this site:craigslist.org 123-456-7890
It works for me.
thanks,
it didn't pull anything up for me, but I had sent an email explaining the situation to the CL admin, the moment I got home from work. I was just hoping to find it myself, and see if I could figure out if it was someone, I know, or if it was just some sort of fluke.
Fortunately I've only had one person contact me thus far and he was very polite.
What was he hoping to find on the other end of the line? (please say a bookshelf)
Crap. Maybe someone just dialed your number wrong and it's correct in the ad??
I just made a test ad and it found my ph# right away
that's what my husband was thinking.... I appreciate your help.
I haven't had any more requests, so I'm guessing you're both right and he just misread.
No, he wasn't looking for a bookshelf, but once he learned that i wasn't going to provide him with what he sought, he was very understanding. I hope he got what he was looking for.
