Five Friday Confessions
- I think I look prettier when I wear earrings, (I only like sparkly studs) but I haven't worn any in awhile. DH should buy me some for my birthday...
- When people tell me they're trying to lose weight I always say "me too" but I'm really not. I mean, I wouldn't mind losing weight but I'm not actively trying or anything. People get too carried away with that sometimes. Chill.
- The closer to Easter we get, the less excited I get about seeing certain family, and the more excited I get about sending Easter eggs in the mail to little kids I know and preparing a surprise basket for DH.
- I haven't showered since Wednesday. I feel so gross, that that's the first thing I'll do after work. That's a benefit to this job, though... wearing sweats. A 9-month-old and a 4-year-old don't judge me.
- I won't really miss this job when I leave in June. I don't like how they pay me.
Re: Five Friday Confessions
-They are hiring a new supervisor at work, someone from within the team. I can't wait to find out who it is. If they choose a certain person, I might go remote because of the blatant show of favoritism and lack of respect for others.
-I refuse to accept that anyone has a more awesome cat than my own. I also refuse to believe that he won't be around much longer due to his age and illnesses. I'm not prepared for what will one day happen and this kind of scares me.
-I kind of love certain skirt styles, but I only wear them around the house. I'm afraid people will think I look stupid if I'm wearing something other than my usual jeans. I don't know why I care what strangers think, but I do tend to second guess my (lack of) style sense.
-I'm not going to remind H about our anniversary (April 10th). I want to see if he remembers. I should note that I mostly don't care and we only would go out to dinner, I'm just curious and am expecting him to forget since 90% of the time he doesn't even know what day of the week it is.
-I wish I could lose a few pounds, but I know that would be leaning into unhealthy territory so I try not to. In the same vein, I want to regain the muscle I had in high school (on the weight-lifting team) but I'm too lazy to exercise now.
I lost respect for a past employer because of something like this. I thoroughly enjoyed the job but I want to work for someone I respect.
- I messaged a friend on FB to let them know that they can't come in June and visit and stay with me because too much is going on. Their phone is turned off so there is no way else to let them know.
- I hate being home mostly all the time now. All hubby does is play WOW and doesn't do anything else
- I borrowed money from my brother to fix my other car 3 weeks before it broke down. Some people think that I shouldn't have to pay him back, but I do.
- I am jelaous of my sister. She has everything going for her - good husband, financially sound, good kids, etc. I don't want the kids but I want the other parts.
- I am having a lot of trouble with some things and put on a front and don't let many people know what's going on and all that.
- I think you should pay him back, but then again, I feel bad accepting gifts.
- There's a lot of people out there I feel like that about. I mean, I'm happy with myself but there are some people that have a lot going for them and I just feel like they don't deserve it.
- I'm always available if you want to chataroo, but I also don't keep everyone informed. That's why my FB is pretty bland when I post.
I hate Michigan and its' weather!
- I have been craving broccoli for a few days
- I went buck wild on fb posting pics of my nieces, nephews, cousins, siblings and close friends. I now have death threats. (lol)
- Going through old pictures I realized I was quite the hottie back in the days
- Going through those same pics, I found the old ones of DH and I when we were dating. (I wanted to jump his bones then and I still want to jump his bones.)
- I have no idea what I am cooking myself for dinner tonight.
