Does anybody have any great pesto recipes other than the usual basil pesto? Wanting to offer a pasta-pesto bar at a party. Thanks.

chives are growing in my yard now so I will probably be making this soon
Chive Pesto
Blend the following in a food processor or blender:
You can also add some kale or Swiss chard, about a hand full, if you?d like. May need to add water to get to the consistency that you want.
This recipe makes pesto using Broccoli. I haven't tried it yet, but it's definitely on my list!

Make an arugula pesto.
In a traditional basil pesto, use cashews instead of walnuts. WAY better.

Cilantro Pesto
I don't normally follow a recipe, though. Take your basic basil pesto recipe and experiment by swapping the basil for different herbs/greens (cilantro, spinach, arugula, etc), the pine nuts for different nuts (I love using walnuts or almonds), and the Parmesan for different cheese (like dried jack, one of my favorites). I also add either a squeeze of lemon or lime or brighten it up. Or add a jalape?o for a spicy pesto.

Parsley Pesto
I don't have a blog, so this links to a search I did for the recipe. It's lemony and delicious.
So Tasty, So Yummy
I made this one and it was a huge hit. My husband loves it. You could sub any chili you like for the ones I used, just be sure to pick something that's not too spicy. If you don't want spicy, just omit it
