Eye candy for the Porch Lover!!!

Someone posted the other day about one thing you would love for your home.  Mine is a covered, wrap-around porch.   We have a small covered porch on our home and cannot build a wrap around but I would sure love one of these...

The only one I don't like is the one that is the giant house on the big open piece of land.  It looks like a restaurant to me.

While I love them too, all I see is how many hanging baskets of flowers I'd need to buy every spring! A LOT!!!

sigh.....yes, i love those. in addition to the one you mentioned, i'm not a huge fan of the one w/the iron posts (modern texas or something like that?).

i do kinda like the shaker sided house w/the the one that isn't totally rectilinear. i would want the porch on it a little more deep, but love it all the same.

We almost bought a house mostly based on the awesome wrap around porch it had and all I thought about too was what hanging baskets I would have!  Luckily I can put 2 on our porch now!

I actually have a wrap around porch... and it looks nothing like any of those.  I am so ashamed.  It's all bare wood from the previous owners, with SIDING for a ceiling (they were idiots), and it's kind of a sore spot on the otherwise beautiful house.  I need to paint it, but that is a LOT of time and paint.

 Lol. I used to get seven hanging baskets each year.  Last year, I started buying four. On the alternate space I found white lanterns on clearance. One in a while I light votives in them.

I love my wraparound. It really makes my house different from the other homes in my neighborhood and I love the charm.

My dream porch is a full circle around the house. That would be so great. At my lake house I have as much sqft in porch as I do in house, but it is only on 2 sides, not all around.
