Sorta F&B: Need new carry-on bag
My previous carry-on bag was a Target find years ago and it's finally falling apart. I would like something that can be used as my only bag for weekend trips or in conjunction with a larger checked bag for longer trips. Must have pockets, fit the essentials, hold my 13" laptop, be light enough for me to carry, and meet the requirements for carry-ons (20-22").
Any recommendations?

Are you looking for a rolling carry-on or more of a tote? This might sound weird but a diaper bag could work really well for a tote. Timi and Leslie has some nice ones that look like large handbags but have lots of nice little pockets on the inside.

Sorry it's not clicky, I'm on my iPad. You can find them a bit cheaper on Amazon (not sure what your budget is).
I wouldn't mind a diaper bag if it doesn't scream "diaper bag!" in appearance. I am looking into both rolling and shoulder totes. Either way, I have to be able to carry it. I take the subway to the airport almost exclusively which requires me to go up stairs in several places. Budget is flexible. I don't want to spend $$$$ but I'm not opposed to spending $$$ if it fits the bill and is quality.
My favorite tote is Longchamp....there's only one pocket but I usually organize my smaller things in other cases anyway. Otherwise, I'd look at Vera Bradley..they have a microfiber line that doesn't scream Granny. Here's one that I like.
