we had a pipe burst and it destroyed our kitchen floor, so I just ordered vinyl today. It has a marble look to it. anyone have this in their house? I'm having a hard time imagining what it's going to look like, but basically anything will be better than the terrible laminate that was there before. The floor guy said that new vinyl is really nice and a lot better than a lot of the laminate out there.
I didn't want to do hardwood because we live in a 1920's bungalow and have like 8 layers of floor under our kitchen and it would be difficult to match to the rest of the house and it would have been more than our insurance would cover.

I agree. I have vinyl in my kitchen and no one believes me. I'm especially enthralled with the vinyl you can grout!

We just put this in our recently reno'd bathroom, and I LOVE it! It looks just like ceramic tile. And no one can tell either! I think we will be putting it in our kitchen when we renovate it this summer.
