All week my tracking number has said my new master bedding (down pillows, down comforter, duvet cover, shams) was arriving today. I called FedEx yesterday to confirm, and the rep said it required a signature, and I had to be here until the end of the delivery window, 7 pm. I spent all day coordinating with DH to make sure someone was always within earshot of the front door. I finally called at 6 today to check up on it, and now they are saying Tuesday!! Boo!
I did, however, get the bedroom painted a new color, Antique White. And here's the new bedding:
I have some chocolate toss pillows for it repurposed from another room. I'm bummed that I can't finish the room this weekend!

No explanation really. He did say they had originally scheduled the delivery for Tuesday, but someone had updated it to Sat. because the truck was scheduled to come in early. But my tracking number has said Sat. all week online. Now the web site doesn't give any expected delivery date. Weird. I've had awful problems with UPS in the past, but this is a first for me with FedEx.
Oh well, I guess if a FedEx flub is the worst I have to complain about, I'm a lucky woman.
I am excited about the bedding! We haven't had new bedding in years, and our current down blanket is for a double bed (we have a queen), so we're always fighting over it during the night. I thought last night was the last night of WWF, down blanket edition, at my house, but I guess we'll have to duke it out for a couple more nights.

Definitely worse than a few extra days for bedding.
