So I've heard of the RnR series of races and more recently of the color runs. I've heard of Tough Mudders and Warior Dashes. Are there any other fun race series that I should look into? I'm sure that many of them are not build for speed but for fun, and I'm ok with fun sometimes, since I'm never fast anyway!
I've never done a novelty race or a race put on by a racing company, but I'd like to try the experience.

Emerald Nuts Midnight Run (4m) 1/1/12
Coogan's Salsa, Blues, and Shamrocks Run (5k) 3/4/12
Colon Cancer Challenge (15k) 4/1/12
Purple Stride NYC (5k) 4/21/12
Run to Combat Autism (5k) 4/29/12
RnR Philadelphia (Half Marathon) 9/16/12
Divas Half Marathon series. Kinda like RnR but female-oriented. Tiaras, boas, roses, champagne, and a huge sparkly medal.
Disney does a bunch of races too.

I hate you very much
I did a 13.1 race back in October, they have put on half marathons in various cities across the country. I was really impressed, I thought they did a great job and would definitely do another one. The one I did in Dallas had a half marathon as well as 5 mile race.
