Once Upon a Time *Spoilers*
Who knew Regina could be nice? I'm glad we know the reason why she is punishing Snow. Thoughts?

My Blog - Really Renata
Once again I thought the episode was great overall. I'm glad Emma is finally seeing how things really are.
After Regina's mom killed Daniel did she perform any magic on Regina to make her see her way or did she just sort of go numb from loosing her love and then blame Snow? If it was the later, it's awfully petty to blame a child for ruining her life when she even acknowledges that her mother knew the king was in town and caused Snow's horse to go crazy.
I can't believe Regina did a complete 180, she was so nice, magic had to be involved....if not, that storyline is pretty thin.
I want more of David/Charming!!!
EDIT: also, I didn't like how the king randomly proposed to Regina just because she was nice to his daughter.
She went numb. You could see her face brighten when her mom said how proud she was. (After the dress fitting). Then her face fell when she learned the reason why.

what happened after Emma found the bug?
Emma goes to the diner and finds the writer (can't remember his name) and says she is sorry for doubting him. And shows him a piece of paper (evidence) and says she has been trusting all the wrong people and tells him about the bug from Sydney. They hear screams and it's Ruby screaming saying she is in the alley and they find Katherine alive looking confused.
I agree it does seem very petty and wrong to blame a child when she was just trying protect her from the potentially losing her mother. Regina probably doesn't understand Snow's motivate as it seems that Regina and her mother do not have a lovely relationship. All Regina sees is a clear betrayal of her trust and probably thinks that David would still be alive if Snow had not told her mother.
So who had Katherine? Rumple or the Queen, or both maybe? I was a bit confused because of the heart in the box being the queens signature, but Rumple was the one "helping" MM.
Also I wonder if the Red Queen from last week is Reginas mother. It struck me odd last week that the Red Queen would have Regina's father so I wonder if the mother some how gained power, since that seems to be what she was all about.
Mommy's little helper
I am really wondering what happened to Katherine and how the heart that they found matched her DNA if she is still alive.
I loved the little girl who played little Snow White.
Regina had the Huntman/Sheriffs heart and he was still alive (until she squished it, of course), so I guess it was the same with Katherine.
I thought that was a little weird, too. I guess he was only thinking of Snow and how she needed a mother and not so much about himself or Regina needing a love match.
I like this idea.
Also did anyone catch that Regina's mother was a miller's daughter? In the Rumplestiltskin tale, it was a miller's daughter who was supposed to be able to turn straw into gold. Rumple helped her do that so that she could marry the king in exchange for her firstborn child. Perhaps some interesting intertwining going on there.
Isnt Regina's last name Mills? That is interesting... He never got that child though, because they guessed his name right? (I think that is how it went)
Mommy's little helper
Hmm...that could be interesting.
I'm glad Emma figured out not to trust Sidney Glass. I thought that whole plot line was stupid and annoying.
I know Snow was just a kid and everything, but I could understand Regina being so angry...although I feel like I would direct that anger more at the mother. I imagine there will be something about Regina's revenge on her mother...which I'm guessing is how she gets her magic too. I don't think her mother becomes the red queen.

I didn't even think of that!!! That's so true and would be great if that's how they tie her in!
And whoever said little Snow White was great, I agree! She was fantastic! That was some amazing casting!
its funny because for half the show i'm like "who is that girl, she looks so familiar?!" and then i realized i JUST watched adam sandler's and jennifer aniston's movie "just go with it" on netflix a few days ago and she played the daughter in that movie!
i thought she did such a good job of portraying little snow!
It will probably just come out that Regina had the results made up, because isnt that what happened with the phone call from David to Katherine? She did just have that made up right, or did it really happen in one of davids "blacouts"?
Mommy's little helper
She's been in a ton of stuff mostly ABC/Disney related. I recognized her from Wizards of Waverly Place where she played the youngest brother, Max, when he is turned into Maxine.
That's where I know her from, it was driving me crazy!
Thanks Mischiefmanaging!
That's a big reveal! Was Katherine injured? Or just out of it like when they found David wandering in the woods?
I loved the little girl who played young Snow, she really seemed to be channeling Ginnifer Goodwin in a few scenes.
I don't think Regina's mother is the Red Queen (are we talking the Queen of Hearts here?) because a) that was a different actress, and so far everybody's double roles are played by the same person, and b) I think they made it pretty clear that she's the Miller's Daughter, and I don't see them giving her another fairytale character.
Regina's mother being the Miller's Daughter makes Regina's relationship with Rumple kind of interesting - is she the first born baby that he was supposed to get if the Miller's Daughter didn't guess his name?
I do think it's interesting that Regina took on the name Mills in Storybrooke, sort of becoming her mother even though she hates her. They do have a lot in common as far "end justify the means" mentality.
Also, I don't care that Regina's hatred and persecution of Snow is completely irrational - she's the Evil Queen for a reason! If everything she did was justifiable she'd be the Angry Queen, or the Vindicated Queen, or something.
I was disappointed when I found out this is the big reason why she wants to punish Snow White. It's not like Snow was being vindictive or anything when she told her mother.
I guess maybe Regina felt that her mother was too powerful so she took her anger out on Snow? I guess later on, she is jealous of Snow finding true love when she had her true love taken away from her.
I'm glad Emma found the bug. It really bothers me how she can be so naive sometimes. She should know by now that just about everyone in Storybrooke is in Regina's pocket.
different deal, different child.
I imagine Rumple's go-to bargain is the first born (and I think in this universe it's because his own first born was taken from him)
I thought that her mother could be the Queen of Hearts too once she grabbed Daniel's and also possessed her father's heart. Who knows, maybe for revenge Regina deformed her mother and banished her to being a queen in wonderland.
I never thought about the Miller's daughter deal with Rumplestiltskin but maybe Regina isn't even their firstborn.
Tea Time for Lulu
How many fairy tale characters can rip hearts out? It would make sense that the queen of hearts would have that ability, like Regina's mother. Didnt we not see the Queen of Hearts' face? I always think its neat to see the infrastructure like the hearts chamber in wonderland appear in storybrooke.
I think the DNA could have been real, because she probably did have Kathrine's heart. Maybe they'll say the test was wrong?
I wasn't that bothered by Regina doing a 180 only because she comes from an evil mother. If she's as evil as we see her now to be, wouldn't some of that be inherent in her already? The death of her love because of a little girl's hopeful "helping" could have been what snapped her.
I still feel like the writer is someone like Grimm or Hans Christian Anderson.
