Worst Cook in America 4/1 - spoilers
Was anyone else surprised by the winner?
I really thought that Vinnie would be the winner. They loved his tartar, raved about the squab, and liked his brulee (despite the ruined one). With Kelly they commented on the odd texture of the sweet potato, the over cooked steak, and the oddly colored apples. MH and I were completely surprised by their decision.
Re: Worst Cook in America 4/1 - spoilers
H and I had the same conversation. They seemed to have an issue with at least one component of each of Kellie's dishes, I was surprised that Vinnie didn't take it. H thinks it's because Anne is on contract with the show and they didn't have another chick to mentor next season.
I did like Kellie, so I'm not super disappointed, just a little surprised.
ETA: whoops, still logged in as my AE for April Fools. lol.
I liked Bobby Flay but I prefer Robert Irvine.

It's the cooking competition risotto curse at work.
DH and I thought that it was Vinnie's to lose, but we have watched enough cooking competition shows to know that you never know until they announce it. The comments must get edited strangely, but really, we knew that it was close and were not really surprised.
We enjoyed Bobby Flay, and hope that he comes back.
