Hey ladies! Questions for the mommies out there....
I'm just curious.
How long, once you started TTC did it take?

Re: Hey ladies! Questions for the mommies out there....
Went off BC in February and found out I was pregnant March 22nd. I think I had one period before I was pregnant.
When are you planning to start TTC?! How exciting!!!
Ummm.... Now. =D
I'm keeping that quiet now...so no facebook please lol.
I've been off the pill for two weeks though, but the first week doesn't count because that was then end of my last cycle.
I know I told you this via other means but just wanted to put it out there:
I went off the Nuvaring Jan 6th last year, we started TTC immediately, I got my BFP the first week in February. However, I come from a line of fertile women so I am an exception. We will see how long it takes us with #2, typically it takes longer.
First thing to think about is that Nuvaring is not systemic like the pill, so it gets out of your system faster. Second, it takes the "typical" healthy couple 6-8 months to get pregnant as mentioned above. Most will get pregnant within a year of actively trying.
HTH, and good luck with TTC. Let me know if you need anything, since I actively charted when we were TTC and am charting now during our waiting time before TTC #2
Thanks everyone!
I stopped taking my pill at the end of my last cycle, so I guess I've been off for two weeks now.
I won't be charting or tracking or anything like that, we're going with the, "it'll happen when the time is right" theory.
So I'll just have fun.
It's hard because I'm not a patient person, so now that we've decided we want something, I want it right away.... but I know it doesn't work that way.
Baby dust out there to any else who needs it!
Yay! Hopefully we'll be able to start a new wave of July Nestie babies!!!
For me, I got pregnant 5 months (but on my 4th cycle) after stopping my Nuvaring but we all know that didn't end the way it was supposed to. It has now been 6 months since the loss and still no pregnancy. My doctor told me it takes a normal/average couple 12 months to get pregnant (only 1/2 the eggs a woman releases in a year are "good" eggs). For me the end of April will mark 1 year since my TTC journey began. I hope things happen quicker for you!
