Just curious if you take pics on a daily/weekly basis or just only on special occasions?
I keep a camera in the car b/c I have been in enough auto accidents to know it helps and as you can tell from OOTD I don't mind using it daily for other reasons.
I like to take pics quite a bit, even if they are just for my own use. I went to a kids bday party a few weeks ago and I was the only one who took pics there and when I emailed them to the mom, she thanked me over and over again because she didn't take any! Sometimes I feel like I am papparazzi if nobody else is taking any, but later on everyone seems to appreciate it when I send them out.
Anyone else like to be the photographer of your friend circle? I feel like I am always the one taking the pics, but I certainly don't mind. I like to have blackmail photos for later, too.
Re: How camera-happy are you?
I'm the same way! I always have my digital ready with a charge and an extra sd card
I'm not. I grew up with my mom who always had a camera in our face. I VERY MUCH appreciate them, but it made it where I never take pictures which can be sad sometimes. I miss out on a lot of opportunities when it's just me.
I have my camera phone which IMO takes pretty good pictures, I just have to remember to use it!
That being said, pictures in general don't irk me, it's when they get posted on FB. It feels a little intrusive... I don't mean run of the mill pics, I mean 'I don't remember that stuff happening' pics... LOL
I haven't had this problem in a really long time, so here's to hoping!
I love taking pics, but I don't usually carry around my camera every day.
Normally it's for specific things like step daughters sports games, concerts, etc, vacations and family get togethers.
I understand this completely, I held out on FB for so long b/c of that issue! I didn't even join until about 2 years ago, and I am very mindful about which pics of others that I post on there without approval. I don't like being tagged in unflattering photos either, so I feel ya on that!
I make it a point, that if I put something on FB, I never tag people in it. If they want to be tagged, they are more than welcome to tag themselves. I also have most albums set so that way only friends of mine can see them.
Myspace was my training wheels for what's appropriate on social networking sites. I've had my fair share of embarrassments.
Oh and yay for blocking people from tagging you in pictures. I am friends with some co-workers and uptight family members. If that weren't the case, I'm sure I would have no problem with it. Sort of. LOL
Same for me!
My siggy. . . totally took that pic myself.

I used to take tons of pics until my camera broke. I used the camera on my Blackberry, but it was pretty crappy.
I got a new camera as a wedding gift and tend to forget I have it lol.
You miss 100 percent of the shots you don't take.
Learned that lesson the first time I went to Europe. Wish I had taken a lot more with my digital camera but I was so "careful" about trying not to lose it or get it stolen that I didn't have it for about half the outings that I wish I had now. It was my first digital and I was a little too overprotective. Now, I'm a picture hor because I figure it's better to have a bunch to choose from, crappy or not, rather than have none at all!
I have my camera in my purse 24/7. Never without it.
I take pictures at special events, but I have it with me for those moments where you wish you had your camera.
i.e. this one:

Taken from my work's parking lot one random morning
Pretty much the same as Liz. Though...I took pictures of my cat eating treats cause it was her birthday so my definition of event might be a little different.
