Patio Umbrella question

I recently became a stay at home mom, so money has been a little tight. We need a new umbrella for our patio table. Last year we bought new cushions and pillows, umbrella ( the umbrella fell victim to a storm.. it was tan) and a tan glider with a tan canopy. The cushions  and pillows are mostly shades of green, olive and sage with tan and brown. I love them and they are still in great shape. My question is I found nice umbrellas at a discount store but the dont have tan. They do have an olive/sage color that will match nicely with the cushions and pillows, and its only $20! Saving us like $40.00! but will it look dumb if the canopy on the glider is tan? They both seem like neutral colors that pair together, but will it look weird if both high things are different? The other thing is if we get this umbrella the money it will save us will allow us to go see Blake Shelton and I really want to go! What would you do?

Re: Patio Umbrella question

  • No question in my mind.....I am a fan of putting things together that aren't matching sets, and would rather see something that coordinates or complements.

This.  Tan is a neutral so it will look fine.

  • I wouldn't worry about it matching,
