I'm thinking about doing this in our basement. We have a large room that is half play room half family room. I need a clock down there, and thought this would be fun to do on one of the walls. I saw this on Sarah 101 - she took vinyl wall decals and an inexpensive clock from some place like Michaels.
Like the idea or no?

Re: Wall clock - yay or nay?
I like the idea but I don't like the execution.
ETA: I would stick with traditional numbers or roman numerals. I don't know that the roman numerals would mesh with your play room though.
I agree. I'd do regular numbers. Maybe in fun colors or, if you can find them, different fonts?

That just looks messy to me...how about something like this? You could frame different numbers, or pictures of numbers, etc.
I'm not a fan like Dr. G said too messy.
Also, I feel like by the time I go through all that work well....cute clocks are a dime a dozen and cheap at places like TJMAXX. Even Target has fun ones.
Hmm.. That's a little too cutesy or crafty looking to me. But maybe I'm thrown by all of the patterns in the frames.
What about the original one I posted, with numbers instead of the words, and only doing 12, 3, 6, and 9? Less busy? In general our style is a little more simple and contemporary.
That would be cute!

My grandson, the new reader, would love to read all of the words in different fonts.
I agree. And I think the original would be fine too for a basement.
