so i've got the hollywood half this saturday. it's my second half marathon and i'm pretty excited. i've been doing long runs once a week for the last four weeks or so, but i got sick last week and didn't get to run this weekend. it should've been my 10-miler.
i'm still not 100% yet, but i'm almost there. i thought i was good to run this morning, but spent half the night coughing and figured i'd better wait. i don't have another chance to run until wednesday.
will i be shooting myself in the foot if i do 10 miles then? i know your'e supposed to taper off quite a bit in the week before a half, but with my last long run being just 9 miles a week and a half ago i worry about struggling on saturday.
got any advice for me? would you run on wednesday/do the full 10 miles?

This happened to me before my 1/2 in November and almost everyone said to consider it an extra long taper and run the race.
I did great and was well rested to run. There is no way I'd run 10 miles now.

thanks, ladies. i really appreciate your input - i hate not having had all of my long runs in, but hopefully i'll be okay. i'm guessing i won't beat my last time, but i'll be happy to finish either way.
