Cupcake liner question

I am making cupcakes for my SIL?s baby shower and I found these really cute pink with white polka dot cupcake liners.  Yesterday I did a test run and I?m glad I did because the chocolate cupcakes make the liner colors like disappear.

How do you deal with this?  Make the cupcakes in the pan and then plop them in the liner once they?re cooled? Or cook them in a cupcake liner and then add another one after they?re cooled? Like double up on the liner.

Maybe the problem is the actual liner.  The one?s I?ve purchased in the past had the inner liner and then an outer liner.  These liners are just the decorative liner?.if that makes sense.
