So, I was planning to order a few plants from Territorial Seed and discovered that my plants wouldn't arrive for another month. Dude. I live in TN. It's been 80 degrees here for a few weeks. We aren't getting another frost, so I need plants like now.
Any other places I can order tomato plants vs. seeds? And I'd rather not order them in sets of 3. I just need one plant of each variety.

Re: Agh - Ordering Tomatoes
I'd got to a local nursery or HD/Lowes instead of ordering online then. I'm in NJ and our Lowe's already has tomatoes out.
Is there a reason I'm not thinking of why you wouldn't do that instead of ordering them?
Only because I had not seen the particular varieties I wanted to plant at HD/Lowes. I did manage to find a Yellow Pear and Rutgers Heirloom at HD last night, but I really wanted to try the Green Zebra.
Gotcha, a local nursery might have more varieties, or the farmers market like PP said. I don't know of any sites where you can get a single plant, only lots of 3.
We're growing ours from seed this year, I'm so nervous about it!
Bubbles are serious stuff.
My tomotoes came up from fruit that fell into the ground last year already.
Do you have a Co-op near you?
My asparagus I ordered online just arrived today. As you know we've been eating asparagus every 3 nights for dinner for over 2 weeks now.

I did let that happen, so I have some that are coming back. I'm only keeping one though. The others I'm going to dig up and replant in the church community garden.
Did you find any plants?
I have access to tons of pretty obscure heirlooms around me, but I wouldn't know about these sources without having randomly dropped by nurseries, and gotten on mailing lists of gardening and related groups, etc. There are a lot of special plant sales by various groups.
