So since quitting soda, I am a grouch and its only been 1.5days
I have a headache and well, it makes me b!tchy. Is there anything that I can do for the headache other than aleve and time?
Re: So since quitting soda, I am a grouch and its only been 1.5days
Not really. I had a killer headache & nausea when I gave up sugar & grains. I actually threw up one day. It did get better the 3rd day and better with each day.
It kind of makes you realize what junk it is by how our bodies react to it out of our system!
Good luck! You can do it!
Why can't you take advil or alieve?
I gave up soda and alcohol for Lent and trust me the beginning was a KILLER but now that lent is almost over (this week) I've been doing really really good. I only went through the craving once and it was bad. I made DH go out and buy me a diet lemonaid and a diet iced tea so I could make an arnold palmer. It's been my savior! (no calories since the can's are both diet 0 calories, no sugar and 1g carb).
You can do it.
I already am and they are not working.
Can I ask why you gave up sugar and grains? Sugar I understand but I'm intrigued by the grains. I'm always looking at healthy diets/ways of life and I'm just curious.
How do you feel without it? I recently gave up coffee and soda. Anything with caffine. I'm surprised that I don't feel all the different. Lol. I still crave it and it's been a month. But the coffee might still be a craving bc I miss going to Starbucks. I've done a couple decaf coffees there which helps.
