Rubbing alcohol to stretch shoes???
So I was told to rub rubbing alcohol inside your shoe, put on thick socks, walk around for like 20 minutes and your shoe will stretch. Has anyone ever done this? If so, are there any negative consequences? I just didn't want to blindly try it...

Test the leather on the color to make sure that it doesn't discolor. I ruined a pair of Louboutins doing this.They were chocolate brown, but ended up with dark brown brings where the alcohol soaked through. I had to take them to the cobbler to be redyed.
The stretch spray has alcohol and a color safeness chemical in it.
