matching white wood with dark wood
We chose this dark chocolate wood furniture for the dresser/hutch and end table in a quality brand but are planning to get an inexpensive IKEA crib for the nursery. I have white wall decals and the walls are light brown.
I was thinking of getting a white crib to play off the white wall decals placed above the crib. Other option is to go with a dark wood crib that is close to, but won't match exactly, the rest of the furniture.
I'm decor-challanged. Could someone kindly steer me in the right direction??
Re: matching white wood with dark wood
I mixed dark brown and white furniture in DS's nursery, and really liked the effect. I think a white crib would be nice, especially with crisp brown-and-white bedding.
