It's Sarah Palin Day on Today
...and my ears are bleeding. Who said yesterday that they were becoming a Good Morning America family? Sign me up. I have about had it with my beloved Today Show.
It helps a little that Savannah Guthrie's disdain is clear as day on her face, and Matt can't decide whether he's amused or completely indignant that he's having to facilitate this circus.
Re: It's Sarah Palin Day on Today
I'm watching her and Tori Spelling discuss throwing parties.
I think I just got dumber.
Her outfit is horrible. But I thought shed be in Ann's seat, and she isn't- so that's good.
But aside from that. If they bring her back, I may really have to go t GMA too. Between her and Ann, I can't handle it.

As an aside, I love Ann's dress today.
Can I join the GMA crowd, too? Ugh.
Both Ann Curry and Savannah Guthrie tweeted Palin's "lamestream media" comment. Guthrie especially seems annoyed. I won't watch as long as Palin is on. They've taken their credibility down about 5,000 notches.
She does have good hair.
I can't take any of her parenting advice seriously, though.

Why? Because one of her daughters got pregnant?
I value the advice of any working woman (especially one as successful as she is) that is able to balance a happy marriage, healthy children, and a career. On top of that, she has a special needs child and a lot of kids. She seems to have a lovely family.
It's called acting.
my read shelf:
oooh I wanna see the train wreck! I wish I could live stream it.
Which career would that be? The one she quit or the one she failed miserably at? Or are we calling famewhoring a career now? I guess a lot of people do get paid for it.
Who "me?"
I was an avid GMA watcher...then I just couldn't take the stupid Nancy Grace appearances anymore, where she fights with Dan Abrams who actually understands law and has a brain. So I decide to switch to the Today Show...it lasted about a week. Ann Curry drove me nuts. Now they put Sarah Palin on? Guess I shall just continue to tolerate annoying Nancy.
And I'm not buying for one minute that Sarah Palin's family is as happy as she likes people to believe.
And over on GMA they have Katie Couric.

I agree. What is her career? She has skated by on luck and schtick and it's unbelievable to me that any intelligent woman could think she is worth listening to. I find her to be condescending and downright silly. She is famous for being famous. Nothing more - nothing less.
I don't see how we'd know if she's done ANY of that. Well, except for the fact that she hasn't killed any of her kids yet. Who the heck knows whether her marriage or her kids are happy? I don't think you ever know what's going on in anyone else's home or marriage.
