Garmin Forerunner 110-anyone?
Shortly before Thanksgiving, I misplaced my 305. I thought it was in my car, but multiple searches have turned up nothing. I'm trying to hold off until my birthday in June to ask for a new running watch and just use my Nike+ app on my iTouch in the meantime, but the Nike+ app's inaccuracy is driving me insane so I may break down and get a new watch before then. I'm not interested in spending the $$$ on a 305 or 405-I honestly don't need all those features and really just want to know how far I've ran and my pace so I was eyeballing the 110. Does anyone have any pros/cons about it, or other similar running watches? The 110 got positive reviews on Amazon, but I'm open to other options as long as they're more accurate than the damn Nike+ app.

My husband misplaced his 305 too, he was so bummed about it. We happened to have a 210, which is similar, from an REI garage sale ($35) that I use when I dabble in running for a few weeks. He used it for a while, but missed the interval timer and the training features of the 305. If you don't use those, you'll be fine with a 110 I think.

I have the 110 - I like it, it gives the basics = pace, time, and distance. I do intervals and speed training on the treadmill so it doesn't bother me that it lacks interval alarms.
My 110 came with a heart monitor too but I haven't used it yet. I bought mine on Amazon for around $170.
LOVE my 110. If I want to use it for speedwork, I set the AutoLap feature at the distance I want (0.25mi or 0.5mi). No issues with that at all.
It can be a *little* tricky to upload runs once in awhile, but I strongly believe that's more an issue with my Mac than the Garmin.

I love my 110 also, just got it this year to use training for the Broad Street run. Its so simple to use, just go outside, find the satellites (takes under a minute usually), hit start and you're off. Its small enough that after my runs I leave it on and use it as a regular watch until I get home, its not as clunky as the 304 or 405. Theres not a ton of buttons or menus to go through, which for my needs is perfect.
I also have some trouble uploading the data, my computer doesn't always recognize the device right away, which is annoying bc the watch is charging, so I know its recognizing something. My husband perfected how to attach the USB cord and hold it at the correct angle to get the computer to recognize it faster.
Also got mine on Amazon for about $170, came to close to $200 once shipping and fees were added in.
Most importantly, it has a pink stripe, so matches everything I wear! (i kid i kid, kind of)
I got mine for Christmas and love it. It's relatively small, easy to use, and gives a tremendous amount of data for me to geek out over.
I do wish it had an interval timer, but I just use my phone when I do intervals, and that works fine. And I have also had problems with it not recognizing right away (also on a mac).
Overall though I love it. So glad I upgraded from the Nike+!
