Need help creating a window seat.

My FI and I want to create a window seat around a 6 foot window in our new home. I'd like to mimic one from BHG: http://www.bhg.com/decorating/storage/mudroom/mudroom/?sssdmh=dm17.507987&esrc=nwhi021711&email=2114809685

Does anyone have any suggestions for shelving and benches besides IKEA? I'd LOVE something with bead board. (or at least something I can add bead board wall paper to) We'd really like something with a little bit of storage whether its cubbies for bins, drawers, cabinets or a mix. We'd also like a little bit of molding detail that we are willing to try and add ourselves. 

I need a bench that covers 6ft by 2ft under the window and we have 2ft on either side of the window for shelving towers.  The top of our window is 8 ft from the floor. 

 

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Personally I would have a carpenter build it in. I bet it will be less expensive than you might think and I would think add value to your home. GL.

Why are you ruling out Ikea?  I think you could accomplish exactly what you are looking for with some ikea shelving and add some trim, etc.

Instead of a middle cabinet have a bench with the back drywall finished with bead board.

Thanks for all your help! We aren't ruling out IKEA, its actually our current plan. We are just wondering what our other options are because there isn't an IKEA anywhere near us and it makes me nervous to buy it online. I sound the shelving towers on IKEA.com but am not sure how to do the bench......
