Good reviews on cat canned foods
After doing some research, I'm thinking of working on transitioning my cats to a canned food only diet, they are currently only eating dry food. I'm wondering if anyone has recommendations on good brands (that aren't overly expensive) that I should try. My cats are currently eating Wellness dry food. One of our cats loves canned food, when we've bought a random can here and there, whereas the other one is much pickier about canned food and the kinds he likes. I'm hoping to find one that is a good brand and will be able to successfully move to canned only in a few weeks. Thanks for any ideas on brands!

This may be too much information, but interesting to read regarding how to choose a good canned food:

We feed a combination of Wellness dry food and their wet food packets. Even my pickiest cat likes them!

You want something grain free for the same reason you want to feed wet: to preserve kidney function, lower the risk of diabetes, etc. Wellness' grain free options are good. Merrick is also good and so is Taste of the Wild. IMO taste of the wild is one of the best quality foods for the money. Someone suggested BFF and it is a good food, although I've discovered that it can be hard to find. As in, my Dad feeds that to his cats in MD, but I cannot for the life of me find it in VA. California Naturals is ok, but not grain free. That and chicken soup for the cat lover's soul are on the lower end of the good quality food spectrum.
We were feeding Wellness' wet foods before, and the cats loved the variety of flavors (well, Scamp loved the variety; Sammy is a picky princess about flavors).
We switched to Merrick's Before Grain line because we still feed them a GF food for a solid $.50 less per can, and our budget needed/needs some trimming. There are only 5 flavors/varieties, but both kitties are happy with them.
